About Us

Formerly known as The Tavern Caravan Park it was started by my father Marty and Bridie O Meara in the early 1980s. The then Park was only 0.4 acres in size and catered for overnight campers and tents from Ireland and all over Europe. As the years progressed People requested to bring in their own Static Mobile Homes to spend more time in the area and have it as a base. My father passed away in 1998 and my mother and myself took over the running of the business and extended the Park to its present 1.5 acres.

Bridie plants an Oak Tree in the park with Sean. The tree was planted in 2018 in recognition of the Village of Ballinderry ”Town of the Oak”

We now cater for customers with their own Static Mobile Homes, overnighters with a Campervan Tent or Caravan. We also offer a 2 Bedroom Self Catering Lodge on site which we rent for 2 nights minimum at a time. As the Park is open all year round this allows people to visit Stonepark Lodge on the off season to enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers.

My mother Bridie and myself love to meet people who come to visit the area and will try our best to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and safe as possible.
